England's Demon Summoning Song
Hey guys, I'm Ally. I am a huge fan of Hetalia and I love everything about it! From the anime, to the manga, the drama CD's, you name it. My favourite character is England and I am in love with his voice from the Japanese dub...
Now you're probably wondering why I'm talking about all this....right? Well it's because of this one incident that I can never forget....even though I actually want to. It involves this specific character; England....and a special song that is known to all of us fans as "England's Marshmallow Song" or in it's actual title, "England's Demon Summoning Song."
It was around two thirty in the morning and I was sitting at my desk, working on this Hetalia reader insert. This was just a normal routine for me since it was my summer holidays so my sleeping habits are quite messed up....anyway, as I was saying I was sitting at my desk, my iPod set in the dock of my Hello Kitty speaker (which I gave it a mouth because I was being derpy). As I was writing in my notebook, my iPod had just finished playing the last song before moving onto the next track. When the next song came on, I was really happy and giggled like a little girl. It was a song sung by Noriaki Sugiyama; England's Japanese voice actor. The song that was playing, was the Demon Summoning Song.
At that time, I absolutely loved that song. The way that England's voice would be deep and smooth, it was in all honesty, very sexy. So I stopped writing and held up my head with my hands as I decided to day dream while listening to the song. I even placed it on loop so that the Summoning Song would play over and over again. As time passed, my mother came into my room and told me to get to bed. I looked at the time and found that it was already three am. I left my room and went to the bathroom just across the hallway and got ready for bed. When I walked back into my room, I found that the lights were already off; even my table lamp light was off. The only sound that was heard was the Demon Summoning Song.
I found this slightly weird because usually, if my mother was the one to turn my light off she'd at least leave the lamp on. But being the over thinker that I am, I told myself that I was just over thinking the situation and shrugged it off as nothing. In the dark, I walked over to my bedside lamp and turned it on. Thankfully it worked and I managed to have some light in my room. I then crept into my bed and lay down, taking my glasses off and preparing to sleep. As for my speaker, I decided to keep it on thinking that the sound of England singing the Demon Summoning Song would help me sleep.
I turned off my lamp, and lay in the dark as my eyes were slowly drooping; my mind succumbing to slumber.........until, I noticed that the sound on my iPod started getting slower. It got deeper, and filled with static. At first I shrugged it off, thinking that I was just dreaming. But after a while it got annoying so I turned on my lamp and got out of bed, with the intention of turning my music off. I walked over to my speaker and turned it off and I pulled my iPod out. I turned on the screen to check the battery but what I saw made me drop my iPod in shock.
"I summon you from the depths of hell."
Was the words that were displayed on my iPod. They were written in blood and behind them, the image of England in his usual cloak...but...it was different. He was completely drenched in blood and his entire body was disfigured. If I described the image anymore....it's too terrifying for me to recall.
I ran out of my room and into the living room where my mother was sitting. I started crying to her and I begged her to see my iPod. After much noise at four in the morning, I managed to convince my mother to go into my room and check my iPod. I stood by my door as my mother made her way to my desk where my iPod was sitting. She picked it up and turned it on.
"There's nothing wrong. Maybe you're just dreaming." She says to me. I wanted to argue that it wasn't a dream but I felt so worn out all of a sudden so I just agreed and let my mother leave. Once she left, I sat at my dressing table with my iPod turned off. I stared at myself in the mirror wondering whether what I saw was just a dream. My lights were off with the exception of my bedside lamp which I was going to leave on through the whole night.
I was just that scared. I then started to hum the song to myself in an attempt to calm myself down....big mistake. My eyes widen as a large shadow looms from behind me in the mirror. I quickly turn myself around, but there was nothing there.
I woke the next morning in my bed still scared of the night's events. I sleepily sat up, took my iPod and turned it on. Everything was normal, I even played the song once just to make sure but nothing happened. It was as if the whole incident was....
